An incredible honour to have had the legendary music composer, A.R. Rahman, attend the Pathu Thala audio launch decked in a bespoke Singarajah suit.
We were presented with a great opportunity of meeting the legendary music composer, A.R. Rahman, during our work trip to Toronto, Canada.
ARR's music had been a comforting constant in our lives like the coloured thread intricately woven into cloth. To show our gratitude, we wanted to gift him a bespoke Singarajah suit. Presented with the honour of remunerating ARR for his service to music, we chose to gift sir a bespoke Singarajah suit.
We had a mere six days to finalise designs and have the custom garments delivered to him. Of course our artisans were able to rise to the challenge and in record time too, thanks to their efficiency and meticulous attention to detail. Plus there was no greater incentive than realising who would be wearing their work!
On the morning of November 15th, the outfits arrived and that same night we packed his bags and bid ARR farewell as he embarked on his journey back home to Chennai.

Fast forward to March 2023 - pictures of the Pathu Thala Audio launch were circulating on various media platforms and to our pleasant surprise featuring ARR wearing his handcrafted, bespoke Singarajah suit for the occasion. We’re grateful for the trust he placed in us and are honoured that he chose to wear Singarajah on this very special event.
